The locomotives of the series Ge 4/4 II with their 2,300 hp and a maximum speed of 90 km/h / 56 mph pull all kinds of trains on the network of the Rhaetian Railway. Back in 1973, the first locomotive of this series – then still in a dark green livery and with round headlights – was delivered to the RhB. Modernized and rebuilt several times – the locomotives included rectangular front signals – almost all of these locomotives are still in service. These locomotives can be seen from commuter trains to the Glacier Express. This locomotive, called the Pullman Locomotive, runs in a special livery. In the future, the 626 can be seen and admired on the Rhaetian Railway.
