Highlights

-Production of the very first handmade model of the Crocodile for gauge H0.

-Zinc die-cast.

-With mfx decoder.

Replica of the first prototype of the Crocodile in gauge H0 that Märklin ever manufactured. Prototype from the year 1936. Frame and body constructed of die-cast zinc. Both trucks powered by means of blind shafts and connecting rods. Factory-installed mfx decoder so that the locomotive can also be used on modern model railroads. Since this is a replica of the original prototype, it must be ensured when using the locomotive on a layout that the headlight gauge is large enough! Direction-dependent front lighting, also in analog operation. Spring-loaded roof pantographs without an electrical function. Length over the buffers 21 cm.

Originally the model of the Crocodile in H0 was planned as early as 1936 and was to be marketed under item number CCS 700. But it remained – not least because of the circumstances at the time – only a prototype. It was not until 1947 that an H0 model of the Crocodile was introduced under item number CCS 800 – the later 3015.
