Naturalistic landscape design – Foliage by NOCH
Foliage is used in a wide variety of areas: foliage gives the ground natural colors and realistic textures; riverbanks and forest edges are given a natural-looking vegetation, and shrubs and trees are given volume by the foliage and look more realistic.
To accommodate a wide variety of applications, we have developed four different types of foliage:
Classical foliage: the “classic” foliage is flocked with a fine, naturally colored flock. It is perfect for designing ground covers, moss and low vegetation.
Wildgrass foliage: wildgrass foliage is created by electrostatic flowing. In the process, different grasses and clutches are combined. The Wild Grass Foliage is ideal for designing realistic grass growth on natural meadows, at the edges of forests, river banks or lakes.
Wild Grass Foliage: the meadow foliage is also electrostatically flocked. Slightly shorter fibers are used compared to the Wild Grass Foliage. The Meadow Foliage can therefore be applied to all areas where humans interfere with natural plant growth. Examples include meadows and pastures, as well as agricultural land.
Leafy Foliage: the Leafy Foliage is characterized by the mass forming of the uniquely finely cut NOCH leaves. It is mainly used to add greenery to shrubs and trees, as well as to design small shrubs and ground covers.
The NOCH Foliage is characterized by unique material properties:
Flinter-thin and highly flexible carrier material: this allows the Foliage to be used on rough surfaces or torn into individual pieces and also installed selectively.
Permanent flexible adhesive: we use a permanently flexible adhesive for flocking, which ensures that the sheet is flexible.
Extensive flocking: the Foliage products are flocked with up to five different materials. In some cases, electrostatic current is also used. This guarantees the natural look of NOCH Foliage.
