The Christmas trees are equipped with LEDs, similar to a light string with light bulbs. By the way, the track widths we give for the trees are only recommendations. You can also use the small tree for 0-track or place the large one on a town square in N-track. Let your imagination run wild!
The connection is made to the light current output of a standard 16 V model railroad transformer. Suitable for DC or AC connection. Alternatively, use with a 12 V plug-in power supply (500 mA, AC/DC) is possible.
The Christmas tree can also be connected with a 9V battery.
Note: The cables of our lighted trees are painted with a non-conductive paint so that no short circuit can occur. You will see this color on the cables in a copper shade. If you solder the cables to extensions or rub off the paint with fine sandpaper, the trees should glow.
