The NOCH Rock Casting System consists of six different Rock Casting Molds in the size 24 x 12 cm. The new NOCH PROFI Casting Molds have been developed especially for this purpose. This allows you to create deceptively realistic individual rocks, rock walls and rock formations as if by magic. Regardless of whether a mountain massif is to be built or a railroad embankment is to be modeled with individual rocks, the NOCH Rock Casting System offers the perfect solution: with PROFI Casting Compound, it is possible to duplicate rocks from a single mold in virtually unlimited quantities. As a result, cast rocks are very inexpensive and particularly suitable for designing large rock and stone areas.
The casts have a special internal coating that makes it easier to de-mold the stones after they have hardened. In addition, the packaging is designed to serve as a stable molding frame at the same time. The frame is placed under the Rock Casting Mold for stabilization. Then you can fill it with PROFI Casting Compound.
The special NOCH PROFI Casting Compound can be easily mixed with water in a ratio of 1:3, poured into rock casting molds without air bubbles and offers a high degree of stability. It is white when cured and is therefore the ideal base material for homemade rocks, which are then colored with NOCH Nature Paints.
1000 g of PROFI Casting Compound provides approx. 800 ml of castable paste. In the following table you can see the filling volume of the respective stone molds and thus calculate how much NOCH casting compound you need:
