New feature 2023: With the new design of the class E 17, PIKO consistently continues the series of the well-known old electric locomotives. The model reproduces the characteristic shapes of the prototype to scale. To perfectly represent the operating condition in Era IV, the model also took into account all changes to the prototype made during modernization. In addition to the windshields, these also affected the routing of the roof lines and the design of the front end. Technically, the new PIKO model keeps its finger on the pulse of the times and features silky smooth driving characteristics, good traction and a light change as standard. This, like the lighting in the driver’s cab and engine room, is designed with the latest LED technology. The sound version is factory-equipped with a matching PIKO sound decoder including the largest possible loudspeaker.
