To achieve this overall impression, great attention has been paid to details. The side vents are designed as strongly structuring elements of the locomotive body with finely etched parts and are an absolute eye-catcher. But the striking side windows at the front and the “portholes” on the side also contribute to the outstanding image through their perfectly flat fit. The impression is completed by the precise and highly detailed design of the bogies. A powerful and smooth-running motor with two flywheels serves as propulsion. Various light functions and the gritty sound of the sound versions ensure varied operation on the track. The NMBS Series 52 model already has an mfx® compatible PluX22 sound decoder in the factory sound version.
