With the striking FS diesel locomotive D.145, a PIKO new design of a pure Italian vehicle now appears for the first time! With its special appearance, wide range of application possibilities and excellent driving characteristics with a successful mix of attention to detail and operational suitability, this machine will delight both collectors of exceptional European locomotives and model railroad operators. PIKO’s D.145 impresses with the finest paint and printing, the exact shape of the body, attached handles and sharply engraved turntable covers. The light change depending on the direction of travel is white/red by means of LEDs. The standard cab lighting and the direction-dependent rear lights are digitally switchable with a PluX22 decoder. The five-pole motor provides excellent driving characteristics with two flywheel masses. The model has a PluX22 digital interface according to NEM 658 and is prepared for easy retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker. The AC model is already equipped at the factory with a suitable mfx-compatible PIKO SmartDecoder 4.1 PluX22 decoder. Brake hoses for retrofitting are included.
