New 2022: Eurofima express train carriage print variant in the design of an SNCB 2nd class carriage in Era V. In the 1970s, European railroads grew technically closer together without losing their independent character. This manifested itself in the joint purchase of modern passenger coaches. This pioneering design at the time also enriches the PIKO assortment and complements the IC ’79 with the legendary Avmz 207 and the ability to control international long-distance trains. The vehicles are accurately executed in 1:87 scale and are characterized by absolutely consistent shape and coloring. The filigree bogies can be seen as a model of contemporary moldmaking, but the precise engravings of the roof beads are also evidence of this. For varied model railroad use, the LED interior lighting designed individually for this carriage type can be retrofitted very easily. The distribution of the prototype allows numerous variants of different railroad administrations and thus represents a European railroad model. Perhaps it is also time again for new pan-European railroad cars on the main line.
