Curved turnouts R2/R3 are only conditionally suitable for scale fast cars with length-over-buffers greater than 300 mm, because the parallel track separation at the turnout narrows, causing problems when long cars meet at the turnout.

The excellent conductivity of the nickel silver profiles and the polarizable cores on the switches also ensure a soft and shock-free ride of the trains.
