Prototype: Diesel locomotive class 120 of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR/DDR), also known by the nickname “Taigatrommel” / “Taiga Drum”. As in service from 1976. Locomotive number 120 052.

Model: The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has controlled high-power drive, centrally mounted. In each truck, two axles are driven by cardan shafts. Traction tires. Triple headlights and dual red marker lights that change over with the direction of travel, in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Headlights on locomotive ends 2 and 1 can be turned off digitally separately. When the headlights at both ends are off, the “Double ‘A’ light” function is enabled. The cab lighting changes with the direction of travel and is digitally switchable. The engine room lighting is digitally switchable. Maintenance-free, warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The locomotive has separately applied side grab irons. The end skirting can be exchanged for closed skirting.

Length over the buffers approximately 20.2 cm / 7-15/16″.
