The Track Extension Set allows functional extension of the rail layout of all starter sets. Can be used for parallel track connections, passing or passing tracks, a siding and new lines. Suitable for both Trix starter sets and existing systems. Further expandable with the entire C-track program. The Trix-C rail is the ideal rail to quickly set up a track figure on a table or on the floor. The click connections of the rail ends with low resistance are particularly contact safe and conductive. The joints are mechanically very precise and have a high degree of intrinsic stability of the mounted track sections. The traction and operating current for the model railroad can be supplied to the mains anywhere. The power cables are connected with flat plugs to the contact lugs present in each section of track. This provides flexibility for a wide range of model railroad routes. A track system that always allows for new driving experiences on ever new route combinations! Even those who already own a “two-wire” track benefit from the Trix-C track: the elegant ballast track is used for any extension and the transition track (62951) is used for transitions to the existing areas, mediating between Trix-C tracks and conventional Code 83 tracks. The slender rail profile of the Trix-C track is 2.07 mm high, meeting the Code 83 standard. All H0 vehicles whose wheel flanges are designed according to NEM run here – and these are practically all new models for the two-rail power supply system offered by the various manufacturers over the past two decades! The track thus contributes directly to the important compatibility of this H0 series.
